    Tail first, then the body.

Does taking out the legs have any effect whatsoever?

    Thoughts?

p.s. seriously could not have come up with some easier name for the first raid?

I don't think taking out the legs changes the boss's attack pattern, but it will give you more loot.

    Interesting. Yeah that makes sense.

    I’ll say this, then:

If it’s a weak group, tail then body. If you’ve got some oomph and blammo power, then take the legs before the body.

All about how much time you have.

The tail should always be targeted first because he does an AOE tail swipe that is unblockable. You may not notice it in easier modes but in Special, it is virtually a 1-hit KO for most members of your team. Always take out at least 2 volcanoes as well when they pop up (even at the expense of wasting a few seconds). Volcanoes give out dragon shapeshift crystals as well as prevent your stupid AI units to wipe (most of them will literally just stand there and eat it in the face). It may not seem like much, but every bit of DPS counts. The difference between all AI units from all teams dead for 2 minutes versus all of them alive and attacking the limbs will add up substantially over the entire course of a fight!
